Hosts looking to return to winning ways

The hosts come into this one off the back of a narrow 2-1 away loss to Nashville and that marked their first defeat in 10 matches. It was a disappointing result but they’ll be keen to get back to winning ways at the first time of asking when they welcome Real Salt Lake. The Saputo Stadium has been a place of comfort for Montreal as they’ve successfully hit the back of the net in all four of their home matches so far this campaign and scoring two or more in three.

The visitors have been somewhat underwhelming so far this season and their away record reads for even grimmer viewing, winning just one of their seven road matches. It’s largely due to the fact they struggle to create chances and that’s evident by the fact that they’ve drawn blanks in five of those seven away fixtures.
