Northampton vs Bury Predictions

This time last season the clash between Northampton Town and Bury was being played in League One, however, since both sides were demoted, the two sides will come together in England’s fourth tier this Tuesday. With both sides needing three points as they bid to make an immediate return, this Tuesday’s fixture promises to be an enthralling affair.

The hosts have not reacted well to their demotion so far and the seven points they have managed so far this season has left them in a precarious position. It is true that there is still plenty of time remaining in the season, but the Saints have the unfortunate combination of a leaky defence and an attack which has so far failed to produce the goods.

Making the trip to Sixfields is a Bury side who have had precisely the opposite reaction to their relegation so far and they are already well on the way to winning their spot back in the third tier.
