Norwich City to roll Birmingham City at Carrow Road

Norwich should be backed to get the win when they host Birmingham at Carrow Road on Saturday. Philippe Clement’s side were 3-0 winners against Oxford in their last Championship game and will be confident of getting the better of Chris Davies’ team.

Their 3-0 win over Oxford in their last Championship game last week was an excellent result, with Norwich restricting Oxford to just one shot on target. They were priced as 13/10 favourites to win the game and triumphed with something to spare.

Birmingham are seven places and seven points above Norwich in the table. The hosts are 17th with 11 wins, six draws and 15 losses, while Birmingham are tenth having won 12, drawn ten and lost ten.

The home team have momentum on their side, having been winners in five of their last seven Championship home games and enjoying two straight successes at home.

The hosts possess an attacking threat. Norwich have found the net at least twice in six of their last eight Championship games.

The visitors have looked vulnerable in defence. Birmingham have conceded 24 goals away from home this season in the Championship – an average of 1.50 goals per game from 16 matches.

A 2-0 win for Norwich looks the best correct-score bet. Five of Birmingham’s last six Championship matches have produced under 2.5 goals and Norwich have won two games in a row by at least two goals.
