Norwich vs Charlton Predictions

Norwich can be backed to win at home to Charlton on Friday. The visitors are finding it hard to score this season.

Both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season, but Charlton are six places above Norwich in the table. The hosts are 23rd with four wins and 12 defeats, while the visitors are 17th with seven wins and eight losses.

Charlton are enduring a difficult run of results, having lost three of their last four away games in the Championship. They have now gone five matches on the road without a win.

The visitors will need to sharpen up going forward. Charlton have been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, scoring just nine goals in 11 games – an average of 0.82 goals a game on the road.

Norwich have enjoyed two straight Championship successes at home and have put together a decent run of results.

They are in better form than Charlton, having lost just one of their last six Championship games, while the visitors have failed to win six of their last seven.

The visitors have looked vulnerable at the back. Charlton have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last ten Championship games and are on a run of five away days without recording a shutout.

A 2-0 home win for Norwich looks a decent correct-score option. Under 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in 13 of Charlton’s 21 Championship games this season and two of Norwich’s four successes have come by two goals.
