Norwich vs Chelsea Predictions
Chelsea have looked like a completely different team since the departure of Jose Mourinho, and Guus Hiddink hasn’t yet given up on his fight for the top four in the Premier League. Chelsea’s excellent form, which has them unbeaten in 11 Premier League games, has brought them up to 11th in the table, and they are now only 11 points adrift of 4th placed Manchester City.
Norwich are fighting an entirely different battle. Their 24 point total in the Premier League so far has them in 17th position, level on points with Newcastle who occupy the first of the relegation spots. They are also one of the most out of form sides in the league having not won any of their last eight matches in all competitions. In the Premier League they have picked up just one point from a possible 21 since the middle of January.
Their form speaks for itself really. Norwich have lost seven of their last eight matches and conceded three or more goals on five occasions during this period. Their total amount of gaosl conceded during this period sits at 22, and they have only managed to score seven in return, and four of those came in the same match. It doesn’t get any better for them at Carrow Road either. They have conceded 13 there in their last four matches and lost 3-0 twice.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have managed to win two of their last four matches by a scoreline of 5-1 and got a brilliant result on Saturday as they came from behind to beat Southampton 2-1. This will have further built their confidence and I think a comfortable margin of victory is expected of the visitors. This makes odds of 2.050 for a Chelsea -1.0 Asian Handicap look exceptional value, and a 3-0 correct score prediction looks good to me.
