Nottingham Forest to Win

Reason for tip

Nottingham Forest’s three-game unbeaten run came to an end at Elland Road, but they have won two of their last four matches and should get three points against Wolves, who have lost their last three games and nine of their 12 away fixtures this season.

Nottingham Forest 2-0

Reason for tip

Wolves have scored just one goal across their last four matches and have lost two of these by a 2-0 scoreline. Nottingham Forest won 1-0 at Molineux in December and two of their last four games have seen them win to nil, including a 2-0 success against Brentford.

Nottingham Forest vs Wolverhampton Predictions

  • Wolves have lost nine of their 12 Premier League away games this season.
  • Nottingham Forest’s last two wins have been to nil.

Tricky Trees primed to bounce back

Nottingham Forest’s three-game unbeaten streak came to an end at Elland Road on Saturday, but the Tricky Trees should return to winning ways against the Championship-bound Wolves on Wednesday.

Sean Dyche’s side are just three points above the Premier League relegation zone, but they have won two and drawn one of their last four games and took three points off Wolves in the reverse fixture in December.

Wolves’ decline continues

Wednesday’s visitors remain rock bottom of the top flight, having collected a mere eight points from a possible 75 this season, and only three of those points have been earned away from Molineux.

The mini resurgence that saw them pick up two wins and three draws in a five-game unbeaten run looks dead and buried, with their 3-1 defeat at the hands of Chelsea extending their losing streak to three matches.

Two of these have been 2-0 losses and they have scored only one goal in their last four games. Forest have won to nil in two of their last four matches and beat Brentford 2-0 in this period. After keeping a clean sheet at Molineux, expect them to go one better and claim the points with a 2-0 scoreline.
