FC Copenhagen have made an underwhelming start to the new Danish Superliga campaign, and they may struggle to get their first victory of the season on the board away to OB this Sunday.

Jess Thorup’s side, who finished third last term, have been held by AaB (2-2) and Silkeborg (0-0) in their opening two fixtures and they take on an OB outfit here who have claimed four points from their first two outings away to Midtjylland (1-2) and Randers (1-1).

Those results have continued OB’s impressive end to last season which included winning their final three home games on the spin, and they also beat FC Copenhagen 3-2 at Nature Energy Park in 2020.

Indeed, each of the last four league meetings have been close affairs with both teams scoring and that’s our tip for this Sunday’s action. On top of both teams netting in OB’s first two Superliga fixtures, Copenhagen’s aforementioned goalless stalemate at home to Silkeborg last time out was the first in 13 league matches for the Lions where both teams haven’t struck.

Both sides will be keen to keep their unbeaten starts in tact in Odense, and while Copenhagen will obviously be gunning for their first victory, Thorup’s charges may have to settle for another point with an entertaining 2-2 draw forecasted.
