      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Preston have scored in four games in a row and, with West Brom also likely to find the net, both teams to score is the best bet when they meet at Deepdale on Saturday.

      West Bromwich Albion 2-1

      Reason for tip

With five of Preston’s last seven Championship games featuring over 2.5 goals and nine of West Brom’s 11 victories this season coming by a one-goal margin, a 2-1 win for West Brom looks like a decent correct-score option.

Preston vs West Bromwich Albion Predictions

Preston have scored in four consecutive league games and both teams should find the net when they host West Brom at Deepdale on Saturday. Paul Heckingbottom’s side have scored at least twice in three of those matches, including a 3-1 victory over Stoke last month.

They are eight places above West Brom in the table, with 11 points separating the two sides. Preston are 13th with 14 wins, 15 draws and 13 defeats, while West Brom are 21st having won 11, drawn 13 and lost 18.

Preston’s recent form has been inconsistent, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games. They were 2-1 winners against Charlton last weekend, but West Brom have won their last two clashes with these opponents.

Preston beat Charlton 2-1 last weekend, with Lewis Dobbin and Brad Potts on the scoresheet. The result kept up their recent trend of matches with both teams scoring, and they will have been pleased to secure the three points after being priced at 12/5 to win the game.

Both sides have scored in Preston’s last four Championship matches, and “both teams to score” has been a winning bet in five of their last seven games. West Brom have been in some low-scoring games of late – five of the last seven have gone under 2.5 goals – but there were four goals in their 2-2 draw with Wrexham two weeks ago.

Scoring has not been an issue for Preston lately, with the hosts finding the net at least twice in three of their last four Championship games. They have averaged 1.80 goals a game in their ten home matches against other bottom-half teams this season.

With five of Preston’s last seven Championship games featuring over 2.5 goals and nine of West Brom’s 11 victories this season coming by a one-goal margin, a 2-1 win for West Brom looks like a decent correct-score option.
