PSG bid to maintain perfect Paris record

Paris Saint-Germain lead the way in Champions League Group A and they can keep hold of top spot by seeing off visitors RB Leipzig on Tuesday night.

PSG were held to a 1-1 draw at Club Brugge in their opener but made a statement in the last round of fixtures with a 2-0 win over Manchester City in the French capital.

Leipzig are yet to pick up any points in Europe and are struggling for results domestically too with just two wins in their last nine games across all competitions.

PSG have been in impressive form in Paris and have won all six of their home games this season.  Four of those successes have been by two or more goals, and they can beat their German opponents with some room to spare on Tuesday.

Leipzig’s away form has been poor this term and they have managed just one win on the road, at second tier Sandhausen in the DfB Pokal.  Die Rotten Bullen have lost three of their last five away games, and in their last European match on the road they went down 6-3 at Manchester City.

A PSG win with a -1 handicap is the main bet here and a 3-1 result looks a good option in the correct score market.  Leipzig have at least scored in both of their European defeats this season and they’ve managed to score in each of their last eight games.  Given PSG’s plethora of attacking talent it makes sense to pick out a goalscorer too and Kylian Mbappe is a contender.  The France international has hit some form with a goal and an assist in each of his last three games for club and country and can continue his hot streak with a strike against Leipzig.
