PSV to best Feyenoord again

PSV have won the last three Eredivisie head-to-heads against Feyenoord and should be backed to get a result when they host them at Philips Stadion on Sunday.

This is a top-of-the-table clash. PSV are leading the league, having won 17 and lost just one of their 20 games this season, while Feyenoord sit second with 12 wins and five defeats.

PSV seem to be firing on all cylinders, having been winners in five of their last six Eredivisie home games.

The PSV attack has been in prolific form lately. No team has scored more goals in the Eredivisie this season than PSV’s 61, and they have netted three or more goals in ten of their 20 league games. They are averaging nearly four goals a game in their nine matches against other top-half teams.

The visitors have looked vulnerable in defence. Feyenoord are on a run of four Eredivisie away days without recording a shutout and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 13 of their last 15 games.

PSV are in form at home, having lost just one of their last ten league games on their own turf. They have gone seven home games since their last defeat and have only lost one of their last eight against Feyenoord here.

PSV may be able to edge out Feyenoord in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Sixteen of PSV’s 20 league matches this season have produced three or more goals and they have won seven of their Eredivisie games by the odd goal.
