Champions League in sight for Union

Union Berlin took a huge step towards securing a top four finish with a 4-2 win over Freiburg last weekend and they can finish the job with a win at Hoffenheim on Saturday in the penultimate round of Bundesliga fixtures.

The Berlin outfit have a three-point lead over Freiburg in fifth, but their superior goal difference means victory this weekend will virtually guarantee a place in next season’s Champions league irrespective of how the Breisgau-Brasilianer fare against Wolfsburg on Friday.

Relegation still a worry for Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim have lost three of their last four games overall and have been an all-or-nothing team at home recently, with four defeats and three wins in their last seven games.
