Reading in a rut

It’s been a poor start for hosts Reading who are on a run of back-to-back defeats, with each of them seeing at least three goals in total. In fact, of the four matches the ‘Royals’ have played so far this term, three of them have seen the overs land. Their last match may have lasting effects mentally as they were absolutely obliterated 4-0 away to Rotherham United and now they welcome a Blackburn Rovers outfit who are yet to drop a single point.

Jon Dahl Tomasson must be delighted with his team’s start to the new campaign. They have played QPR, Swansea and most recently West Bromwich Albion and have won all of them by an aggregate scoreline of 6-1. Two of their three league games have seen the overs land and they will find plenty of opportunities against Reading.
