Bologna Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Bologna have won their last six Serie A matches, including tough away trips to Lazio and Atalanta. Thiago Motta’s men fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Inter in October and knocked the Nerazurri out of the Coppa Italia in December, so could have a mental edge in the clash. Also, Inter could have one eye on next week’s Champions League return clash with Atletico Madrid.

Bologna 2-1

Reason for tip

Bologna have scored at least two goals in all of their last seven Serie A games and in both previous clashes with Inter this season. The Nerazzurri have not been shut out in any of their 13 away league trips this term.

Bologna vs Inter Milan Predictions

  • Bologna have won their last six Serie A matches, including tough away trips to Lazio and Atalanta
  • Bologna fought back from 2-0 down to draw at Inter in October and knocked the Nerazurri out of the Coppa Italia in December
  • Inter could have one eye on next week’s Champions League return clash with Atletico Madrid

Timing of clash of Serie A form sides suits Bologna

Serie A’s two most in-form sides meet at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Saturday with the timing of the clash presenting hosts Bologna with a better chance of beating table-topping Inter Milan.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to rest some key players ahead of Inter’s Champions League round of 16 return leg away at Atletico Madrid the following Wednesday and that could tip the balance in Bologna’s favour.

The Rossoblu have won six straight games to solidify their claims to enter Europe’s top club competition next season. It is not been an easy run of fixtures for Thiago Motta’s men either with victories gained in recent away trips to Lazio and Atalanta.

Motta’s men may have a mental edge

Motta made a brave double substitution at half-time in a bid to turn around a 1-0 deficit in Bergamo last week and his side fought back to win 2-1. Bologna’s squad is nowhere near as strong as Inter’s, but they have a few players that Inzaghi will be worried about.

The Rossoblu came from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw at the San Siro in the reverse league fixture and were also the team to knock Inter out of the Coppa Italia earlier this season.

Inter will want revenge, but the proximity to the Atletico Madrid match, which must be a priority given the Nerazzurri’s healthy lead in the Scudetto race, means the value lies with the in-form hosts. Backing them in the Draw no Bet market seems a sensible precaution, however, given Inter are head and shoulders above the rest in Italy.
