Real Betis looking strong

It has been a superb start to the season for Real Betis, continued by beating an in-form Villarreal 1-0, their fifth win in six games, on Sunday night.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side have scored in each of their half a dozen outings, with both teams netting on two occasions, while they have only failed to score in one of their last ten fixtures.

Their defence will be tested by a Ludogorets strikeforce who have been on form this season though, and their clean sheet record in the Europa League isn’t great, managing just three in their last 13 games.

Can Ludogorets pull off an upset?

Ludogorets are, as ever, going strong in Bulgaria, sitting top of the table having dropped only two points from eight games, scoring a staggering 29 times in the process.

Stanislav Genchev’s side pulled off an upset by beating Roma 2-1 in their opening group game, meaning both teams have scored in five of their last six European fixtures.

However, Real Betis will pose a different and tougher test, and Ludogorets are on a run of seven Europa League away matches without a victory.
