Los Blancos can edge victory in Madrid

Real Madrid’s La Liga title defence has not gotten off to the smoothest start, but Los Blancos are fantastic at the Bernabeu and should be able to clinch three points when Real Betis make the trip to the Spanish capital on Sunday.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have dropped points in both away games this term, but they cruised to a 3-0 win at home to Real Valladolid and they are unbeaten at home since April 2023.

They have won eight of their last nine home La Liga games and have kept a clean sheet in eight of those, while Real Betis head into this game winless after two attempts this season, scoring just once.

Real Madrid look a good bet to win to nil, but I’m not expecting a high-scoring affair. The last seven meetings between these sides have produced just six goals in total and Betis have failed to score in three of their last four La Liga matches, so a 1-0 correct score prediction looks solid.
