Real Salt Lake have struggled to find victories of late, winning just two of their last ten games and allowing themselves to sit in midtable without much scope of moving in either direction. They’ve scored at a good rate, with 21 goals in 13 matches but they’ve won just four times with the side really struggling to put games to bed this season.

Colorado Rapids have had a much better time of things with seven wins from their 13 games. They’ve scored the same amount as their rivals this weekend but have conceded an average of just a goal a game with the visitors really impressing over much of the season, including in their recent run where they’ve lost just twice in ten games.

Goals look like they could be at a premium with all of the last four games featuring the Rapids failing to beat the 2.5 goal line. Both sides are quite solid defensively too and we’re backing this game to finish with under 2.5 goals as both sides continue some decent form in their own halves whilst struggling to find the net. Colorado have the better form and plenty of confidence coming into the game though and we’re predicting they will pick up a slender 1-0 win to keep that form rolling.
