SC Freiburg vs Cologne Predictions

Freiburg can continue winning streak

Freiburg are starting to show flashes of themselves from last season, when they were pushing for a European berth, and they look an excellent bet to overcome out-of-form Cologne.

The Black Forest outfit have won their last four on the spin in the Bundesliga, beating Arminia Bielefeld, Schalke, Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim and have netted at least two goals in each of those victories.

Vicenzo Grifo is once again pulling strings on the wing and they are moving into contention for a top-five spot in Germany’s top flight.

Opponents Cologne, meanwhile, have managed only two wins from 14 league matches this campaign and have failed to score in any of their last four across all competitions so are worth opposing. We predict a win for Freiburg and given that Cologne have fired only 13 goals in the Bundesliga this term, a 2-0 success for the home side could be the way to go.
