Senegal have made it to two of the last three African Cup of Nations finals, and they can make it three from four against their opponents in the 2021 edition, Egypt.

The Lions of Teranga have won four of their five Africa Cup of Nations tie, scoring 11 times and conceding just twice. Egypt have a similar record, but the Pharaohs have ridden their luck at times and that luck may run out in Tanger on Wednesday.

Egypt beat Ivory Coast 3-2 in the quarter-finals despite being outshot 13-6, with that following an extra-time win over Benin and a deserved draw against Angola.

Senegal are a step above Benin and Angola and won 1-0 the last time these sides met in 2022, so I’m backing the favourites to get another win here, alongside a 2-1 correct score prediction.
