After a respectable two wins and two draws from their opening five matches to move onto minus four points, defeat to the promotion favourites was hardly a disgrace for Wednesday, although they will be disappointed to have fallen behind again just five minutes after Callum Paterson cancelled out the first of two goals for Bees hitman Ivan Toney.

It puts them on the backfoot again going into this Saturday’s encounter against Luton and everything points to a low scoring contest.
