Roma to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

Real Madrid scored three late goals to beat Roma 4-3 at the Stadio Olimpico last week, but the Giallorossi played well in that tie and it’s the only contest they have lost this season. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men are fancied for a comfortable success over Slovan Bratislava.

      4/9odds when tipped

      Roma 3-0

      Reason for tip

Slovan Bratislava conceded six goals in their opening Champions League tie at PSG and it was then three against Stuttgart last time out. Roma can win a high-scoring European tie.

      Roma vs Slovan Bratislava Predictions

      • Roma have lost only one of their nine matches this season
      • Slovan Bratislava have won only four of their last 11 matches in 90 minutes
      • Six of Slovan Bratislava’s last seven games have gone over 2.5 goals

      Roma ready for high-scoring success

Roma surrendered a 3-1 loss to Real Madrid at the Stadio Olimpico last week as the Giallorossi conceded three late strikes to fall 4-3.

Clearly, losing from a strong position is a disappointing effort for Gian Piero Gasperini, but that should not take away from the good performances Roma have been producing this season.

The Giallorossi were comfortably the better side for 65 minutes of last week’s Stadio Olimpico tie with Real Madrid and followed good efforts when drawing 2-2 with Inter and 0-0 at Como.

Gasperini’s men remain unbeaten in Serie A this season, and while they have failed to beat Fenerbahce and Real Madrid in the Champions League, a European victory does not look far away.

Slovan Bratislava were hammered 3-0 at Stuttgart in Europe on Wednesday and that followed a 6-1 Champions League hammering against PSG.

The Sky Blues have won only four of their last 11 matches in 90 minutes and Yaya Toure’s men have not been meeting teams of PSGs quality every week.

It is likely to be a long and hard Champions League campaign for the Slovakians and they are unlikely to find any respite in Rome.
