Lincoln’s form has also got worse in recent weeks with two losses in a row and only one goal scored in their last three.

They’ll hope to improve that record slightly but they really could struggle to find the net without their talismanic striker.

This game is an interesting one with home advantage giving Southend an edge that might otherwise be missing. It’s hard to know how Lincoln will react to losing Walker but their goal threat has significantly diminished and with Southend fighting for their lives at the bottom we’re backing The Shrimpers to come away with a win or the draw on the double chance market.
