Neither of these two sides can progress into the knockout stages of the Europa League (UEL), however, a place in the latter rounds of the Europa Conference League remains a possibility. If Sparta Prague can avoid defeat here, the European journey will continue and given that they’ve won 10 of their 13 home games this season, it’s easy to see why they come into this one as favourites.

It’s been a bit of a miserable season so far for Brøndby. They come into this one coming off the back of a domestic 2-0 defeat to FC Midtjylland, the first time in nine matches that they’ve failed to score. Things haven’t gotten any better for them on the European stage, failing to win any of their five group stage games so far and scoring just two goals. Those two goals were scored in draws and it gives them a small chance of keeping the European adventure alive.

Sparta Prague to emerge victorious

The hosts haven’t been great this campaign, but they do have a superior team and they should comfortably dispose of the Danes on home soil and get into the Europa Conference League.
