Sparta Prague face a mammoth task to progress past Liverpool in the Europa League but they can stay in the game with a result in the first leg of the tie on Thursday.

The hosts produced a dramatic comeback in the last round as they overturned a 3-2 deficit against Galatasaray, beating the Turkish side 4-1 in Prague to extend their impressive home record.

They are now unbeaten in all 19 home games this season and have won 16 of those, so they will be quietly confident of keeping Liverpool quiet on Thursday.

The visitors could field a rotated side ahead of their potentially title-defining clash with Manchester City at the weekend and that has yielded some poor results for them recently.
