Cagey Contest Expected Between Swansea and Norwich

Under 2.5 goals looks the best bet when Swansea host Norwich at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday. There have been under 2.5 goals in four of Swansea’s last six Championship games and no team has had fewer overs games in the division than Swansea’s eight this term.

Swansea are 16th in the Championship, six places above Norwich, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts have won three and lost four of their 11 games, while the visitors have two wins and seven defeats.

Swansea have won just one of their last seven Championship matches and Norwich are on a bad run too, with their last four games ending in defeat.

Swansea lost 1-0 to QPR on Wednesday in their last Championship outing and kept up their recent trend for matches with under 2.5 goals. Swansea, who were priced at 23/20 to win the game, will have been frustrated to lose but they didn’t create many scoring opportunities.

Goals have been scarce in Norwich’s recent matches, with five of their last seven Championship away games going under 2.5 goals.

Both teams are struggling to find the net at the moment. Swansea have been disappointing in front of goal this season, scoring only ten goals in 11 Championship games, while Norwich have failed to score in three of their last four matches.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Swansea have been in some low-scoring games of late – four of the last six have gone under 2.5 goals – but there were four goals in their clash with Leicester three weeks ago, when they lost 3-1.
