Tijuana vs Pachuca Predictions
- Both teams have scored in 4 of Tijuana’s last 6 league games.
- Tijuana haven’t won any of their last 8 league matches.
- Both teams have scored in 4 of Pachuca’s last 6 away games.
- Pachuca have won just 1 of their last 7 away games.
Tijuana looking to end miserable streak
Whilst not an outright favourites for honours in Mexican football, Tijuana came into the Liga MX campaign hopeful of a successful season but things aren’t really going to plan. They missed out on a play-off place over the opening phase and are on course to do so once again, coming into this clash stationed third bottom with just 6 points from 9 matches.
Pressure is building on the hosts and they are now 8 league matches without a win, making Saturday’s game an important one for them. Entertainment is typically in order when the hosts play, with both nets having been hit in 4 of their last 6 league matches but they just can’t seem to get on the right end of a result at the moment.
Pachuca looking to maintain play-off pace
Meanwhile, Pachuca also came into the campaign hoping to compete at the top end of Liga MX but missed out on a play-off spot in the opening phase. Nonetheless, they are running along in reasonable fashion in this closing phase, stationed in the final top 8 position courtesy of goal difference.
Nonetheless, Pachuca are where they are mainly due to their home performances and they’ve won just 1 of their last 7 away games, leaving their prospects of securing victory on Saturday looking questionable. They do bring an attacking game plan with them on the road, given that both nets have been hit in 4 of their last 6 away outings but that doesn’t tend to bring them 3 points often.
Plenty of action is expected
Ultimately, we’re expecting an open and exciting game between Tijuana and Pachuca on Saturday and both teams will be itching for the win. Tijuana desperately need to end their winless streak whilst Pachuca will be hungry to keep pace with those around them in play-off contention.
All things considered, backing the Both Teams to Score line looks the best way to play as far as the betting is concerned and is something we’re more than happy to do. Both teams have no difficulty in scoring goals but do struggle in keeping them out and we fancy that theme to continue via a 1-1 draw.
