Inter can follow up midweek success

Inter have been scoring plenty of goals this season and they are the bet away at Torino on Sunday. Simone Inzaghi’s side travel to Stadio Filadelfia to face Paolo Vanoli’s team and should get the win following the boost of their sensational Champions League semi-final success over Barcelona.

Inter are second in Serie A, nine places and 30 points above Torino, with 22 wins from their 35 games. The hosts are 11th with ten wins, but they have lost just once in their last seven matches.

Inter will be expecting to get on the scoresheet, having netted 73 goals in 35 games this season – more than any other team in Serie A. They have been prolific away from home against bottom-half sides, averaging 2.67 goals a game.

They have kept out Torino in five of their last seven Serie A clashes and have been impressive defensively away from home this season, conceding just 14 goals – an average of 0.82 goals per game from 17 matches.

A 2-0 away win for Inter looks a decent option for correct-score bettors. At least one of the teams did not score in five of the last seven Serie A meetings between these sides, and while Inter would love to focus all of their attention on the Champions League final with Paris St-Germain, they are only three points off the Serie A summit so must keep chasing down leaders Napoli.
