Valladolid’s winless start to continue

Villarreal made it two wins from two in the Europa League in midweek with a dramatic late comeback at Qarabag, and they could continue their unbeaten streak when they face a dreadful Valladolid side on Monday.

The hosts have won four of their last six games in all competitions and haven’t lost since a trip to the Camp Nou in September. At home they have won four matches on the spin in all competitions and haven’t lost since July, helping them to 5th in the La Liga standings.

Valladolid are having a very different start to the season, however. They sit rock bottom of the table and remain without a win this season. Four of their seven La Liga outings have ended in defeat, including three of their last four fixtures.
