      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Wrexham and Leicester will be hoping to make the playoffs and, having both lost at the weekend, each should go on the front foot as they look to get back on track at the Racecourse. Both teams to score has been a winning bet in Leicester’s last ten games, as well as in seven of Wrexham’s last eight, so an end-to-end affair is expected.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

These sides each fell to disappointing defeats on Saturday and it is likely the pair will be happy with a point at the Racecourse. The Foxes have the stronger squad but Wrexham have lost just one of their last nine home games, evening the playing field. It was 1-1 when they met at the King Power and a repeat scoreline is on the cards in north Wales.

      Wrexham vs Leicester City Predictions

      • Both teams to score has been a winning bet in Leicester’s last ten Championship games
      • The same selection has landed in seven of Wrexham’s last eight fixtures
      • The Dragons have lost just one of their last nine home matches

Dragons and Foxes focused on bouncing back

Neither Wrexham nor Leicester will have much time to mull over disappointing 2-1 defeats on Saturday as the mid-table pair clash at the Racecourse just three days later.

Tuesday’s hosts suffered a shock home loss to relegation-threatened Norwich but has been in strong form before that, winning their four previous Championship games and knocking Premier League Nottingham Forest out of the FA Cup on penalties.

Most expected Leicester would lose to Championship leaders Coventry in the questionably named M69 derby but it proved to be an unsatisfactory result given their first-half dominance.

Mid-table pair to each grab a goal at the Racecourse

Both the Dragons and Foxes will be keen to bounce back following those disappointments and it would be no surprise to see Phil Parkinson and Marti Cifuentes employ attacking approaches to do so.

Beating goalkeepers is rarely an issue for Leicester, who have found the net in 11 straight games, while Wrexham have bagged an impressive 18 goals across their last eight matches.

That suggests an exciting encounter is on the cards at the Racecourse, where both teams are likely to find the net once, just as they did in September’s reverse fixture at the King Power.
