Goals at both ends expected at Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon have scored two goals or more in six of their nine League One games this season and the best bet may well be that both teams score when they host Wycombe at The Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday.

AFC Wimbledon are ninth in League One, nine places above Wycombe, with the hosts having won five and lost four of their nine games this season. The visitors have two wins, two draws and five defeats.

AFC Wimbledon have been in patchy form recently, with three wins and three defeats in their last six League One games. They beat Rotherham 2-1 two weeks ago in their last home game, while Wycombe won 2-0 at Northampton last weekend but have not won any of their last five away games.

Four of the last five League One meetings between these sides have seen both teams score.

Neither side has been defensively solid of late. AFC Wimbledon have failed to keep a clean sheet in four of their last five League One games against Wycombe, who have conceded on each of their last five road trips.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking like a decent correct-score bet. These teams drew 1-1 last time they met in League One and five of Wycombe’s last seven league matches have ended with under 2.5 goals.
