      Spain To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Spain have never conceded against Serbia in three games and may extend that run to four against the Eagles, who failed to qualify for the World Cup and have lost without scoring in three of their last five games.

      Spain 3-0

      Reason for tip

Eight of Spain’s last nine games have gone over 2.5 goals and even if they do rotate with one eye on the World Cup, their attacking talents are likely to be too strong for the visitors. Take a 3-0 home win.

      Spain vs Serbia Predictions

      • Spain have won 21 of their last 26 internationals
      • Serbia have failed to score in all three of their meetings with Spain
      • Serbia have lost and failed to score in three of their last five matches

      Spain to claim routine win

Spain have dominated international football in recent years, winning 21 of their last 26 internationals and losing just one of those.

They are favourites for this summer’s World Cup and will start their preparations proper by facing Serbia in a friendly in Villarreal.

The Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup after a disappointing qualifying campaign which saw them finish third behind England and Albania and they are looking to rebuild under Veljko Paunovic.

This is a squad that is not getting any younger however, with stars such as Aleksandar Mitrovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Filip Kostic all over 30.

Perhaps most disappointingly for a team known for their attacking talents, they have failed to score in three of their last five games, losing all three of those.

As a result they have an extremely tough task against La Roja, who kept five clean sheets in their six World Cup qualifiers. Spain were 3-0 winners when these sides last met back in 2024 and another win to nil looks likely for Luis de la Fuente’s men.

Eight of Spain’s last nine games have gone over 2.5 goals and they could cruise to another 3-0 win over these opponents to lay down a marker for the World Cup.
