Chelsea To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Chelsea have won their last three games across all competitions and have won four of their last seven at home. The hosts can win without conceding against an Everton side who have managed just eight away goals in the Premier League and have failed to score in six of their seven defeats on the road in this competition.

Chelsea 3-0

Reason for tip

Chelsea have hit a bit of form and managed a 3-1 win at Leicester last time out, while Everton are leaking goals away from home and have shipped 13 in total across their last five trips. So a 3-0 win for the home side appeals.

Chelsea vs Everton Predictions

  • Chelsea have won their last three games.
  • Everton are winless in 11 on their travels across all competitions.
  • Chelsea have five clean sheets in their last seven at home.

Chelsea showing signs of life

Chelsea have managed to steady the ship in recent weeks and they head into Saturday’s game with struggling Everton on the back of three successive victories.

The Blues have claimed Premier League wins over Leeds and Leicester either side of a Champions League victory against Borussia Dortmund, a result which saw them reach the last eight of Europe’s top competition.

The visit of Everton looks like a great opportunity for Chelsea to extend their winning run to four, as the visitors are seeking to end an 11-game winless run away from home.

Chelsea can win without conceding

Chelsea’s recent results, particularly their Champions League progress, has eased the pressure a little on boss Graham Potter and most of that success has come at Stamford Bridge.

The Londoners have won four of their last seven home games and their defensive play has been key, with Chelsea managing five clean sheets during that run.

The hosts are a short price to win on Saturday so it is worth playing around with this fixture a bit and given Chelsea’s impressive defensive record on home soil a win for the hosts to nil stands out.

Everton have failed to score in three of their last four away days and when they do lose on the road they usually draw a blank, as they have failed to score in six of their seven away league defeats and have managed just eight goals in 13 league trips in total.

Havertz rediscovering form

Kai Havertz has had a largely underwhelming season for Chelsea but he has started to find a bit of form and has managed goals in each of his last two games, while with six in 25 games in the Premier League he is only two goals shy of his tally for last season.

The German looks a good option for an anytime scorer bet, while a 3-0 win for Chelsea is the correct score selection.

The hosts do appear to be clicking into gear and Everton have been leaking goals away from home, shipping 13 in total in their last five away from home.
