Saturday is the first full matchday of Euro 2024, kicking off in Cologne as Hungary take on Switzerland before heading to Berlin and Dortmund for Spain vs Croatia and Italy vs Albania respectively.

Hungary vs Switzerland

Barnabas Varga to score anytime

Barnabas Varga is having a late international flourish at 29-years-old. He made his international debut in 2023 and he has six strikes in his first 11 games for his nation. The forward scored twice in their final warm-up game and he netted in his last four appearances in qualifying.

Dominik Szoboszlai to have 1+ shot on target

Dominik Szoboszlai led the way for shots on target for Hungary in Euro 2024 qualifying, testing the opposition goalkeeper 13 times in eight games and scoring four goals. The Liverpool midfielder hit the target at least once in six of his eight qualifying outings, including having nine shots on target in his final three.

Ruben Vargas to have 1+ shot on target

Ruben Vargas had 21 shots in nine appearances in Euro 2024 qualifying and hti the target with nine of those. He had at least one shot on target in six of these nine outings, testing the keeper five times in his final three games.

Spain vs Croatia

Alvaro Morata to score or assist

Taking advantage of Paddy Power’s Super Sub promotion, backing Alvaro Morata could give you a free hit at the free-scoring Joselu. The Real Madrid striker is often brought on for Morata when he doesn’t start and between them they had ten goal involvements in qualifying, averaging either a goal or assist every 69.5 minutes.

Andrej Kramaric to have 2+ shots on target

Andrej Kramaric had 12 shots on target in six appearances in Euro 2024 qualifying and the Croatia attacker tested the opposition keeper at least twice in five of his six outings.  He comes up against a Spain side with just one clean sheet across their last six games.

Marcelo Brozovic to be fouled 1+ times

Marcelo Brozovic was fouled ten times in Euro 2024 qualifying and was on the receiving end of at least one foul in five of his last seven competitive appearances for his country. He will occupy a similar space to Rodri, who committed more fouls than any other Spain player in qualifying.

Italy vs Albania

Nedim Bajrami to have 1+ shot on target

Nedim Bajrami was Albania’s joint-top scorer in qualifying and had more shots on target than any other player. He hit the target six times from nine attempts and tested the opposition goalkeeper at least once in six of his final seven qualifying outings.

Yiber Ramadani to be fouled 2+ times

Albania midfielder Yiber Ramadani was fouled 14 times in seven appearances in Euro 2024 qualifying and was fouled at least once in every match. His last competitive game for his country saw him draw four fouls against Moldova and he was been fouled twice or more in four of his last six.

Mario Mitaj to be fouled 1+ times

Mario Mitaj was fouled nine times during Euro 2024 qualifying and three of those came in his final qualifying outing against Faroe Islands. The young Albania left-back was fouled at least once in six of his seven qualifying outings.
