Chelsea’s home game against Aston Villa is the late kick off in the Premier League on Saturday and we’ve put together a four selection 25/1 bet builder ahead of the action.

The Blues perfect start to the season was ended at Liverpool before the international break as they held on to claim a 1-1 draw despite playing the entire second half with 10 men.

We’re expecting Thomas Tuchel’s European champions to get back to winning ways against Villa, and have come up with this 25/1 bet builder using some of the selections from our Chelsea vs Aston Villa predictions.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa Bet Builder tip

Chelsea v Aston Villa Bet Builder selections

Chelsea -1

We’ve opted for a 3-0 win for the hosts as our correct score call, so our first port of call here is Chelsea to win with a -1 handicap.  The Stamford Bridge side have two Premier League wins so far this season and both of those wins have been by two or more goals, while Chelsea have won with a -1 handicap in three of their last five home games going back into last season.

Both teams to score No

Aston Villa have scored in all four of their games in all competitions this season but they may struggle to break down Chelsea’s formidable backline.  The west Londoners have two clean sheets in three games this season and the only goal they conceded came from the penalty spot.  The Blues also managed to hold Liverpool’s fearsome attack at bay for the whole second half at Anfield last weekend, despite being a man down, and can keep a clean sheet against Villa.

Kai Havertz anytime goalscorer

Obviously, Romelu Lukaku is the standout pick for an anytime Chelsea goal but there is a slight question mark over his fitness and in any case German international Kai Havertz offers more value.  Havertz grabbed his first Premier League goal of the season against Liverpool and has managed two goals in his last four appearances for Chelsea, having also netted in the UEFA Super Cup win over Villarreal.

Tyrone Mings to be booked

Chelsea will almost certainly dominate possession at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, and that could lead to frustration creeping in for a few Villa players.  That in turn may result in a few yellow cards being handed out and defender Tyrone Mings looks a candidate for a booking.  The defender has one booking in two games for Villa this season and was also shown a yellow card while playing for England against Andorra – meaning he has two bookings in his last three games.
