Tottenham vs Man City Ultimate Bet Builder

Phil Foden to score

Foden found the net against Tottenham when the pair shared a 3-3 draw in December and the midfielder can trouble them again on Friday. This cup clash also tracks to be a high-scoring game, with both sides entering it with impressive attacking records and some questionable defending of late.

Foden has been key for City across their last 10 games, chipping in with five goals and five assists. While the return of Kevin De Bruyne adds more competition, it pushes him to the left to match up with Pedro Porro, who is inclined to wander from right-back. Back Foden to add to his goal tally in this clash.

Richarlison to score

Richarlison heads into this clash having thrived as Tottenham’s leading man in recent weeks. The Brazilian has scored six goals across his last seven appearances and that fine form should continue on Friday.

The return of James Maddison comes at the perfect time for Richarlison, as he adds even more creativity to Spurs’ midfield. The Brazilian will be charged with finishing chances and he’s great value for a goal having scored four goals across his last four home appearances.

Kevin De Bruyne to make an assist

De Bruyne’s return to fitness has been a boost for City and the Belgian has taken little time to settle back in. He’s set up a goal in his two appearances since returning to the starting lineup and he can keep that run going on Friday night. Spurs have managed one clean sheet in five and their defence can be exposed by De Bruyne, so back him to set up a goal.

Rodri 1+ shot on target

Rodri has clearly upped his attacking influence at City this term, something which the bookies have slowly caught up on. However, the Spaniard remains a good value to push forward and get a shot on target, despite getting one in each of his last two appearances.

The Spaniard tends to have a bigger influence going forward away from the Etihad, averaging 1.4 shots on target per away game in the league this season. Playing alongside Matteo Kovacic has freed him up a little, so he remains a great bet to have a shot on target.

Dejan Kulusevski to be carded

Tottenham winger Kulusevski may not seem like a stand out candidate for a card, but the winger does tend to take on a little extra defensive responsibility with Porro behind him. The Swede has picked up a card in four of his last seven appearances, while he’s been booked five times this season. That includes a booking when these two sides met at the Etihad, so back him for a caution here.
