I am the sole representative from FST for this midweek edition of Experts’ Best Bets and I’m joined by a trio of Racing Post tipsters in the shape of Mark Langdon, Chris Rivers and Dan Childs.

13/1 Experts’ Acca

Paraguay vs Ecuador – Ecuador to win at 7/5

This game is a dead-rubber for Paraguay after an abysmal qualification campaign where they have managed just two wins in 16 attempts, with seven defeats, while Ecuador sit third in the standings and are closing in on automatic qualification.

Paraguay are in terrible form and have five defeats in their last six, while they have gone seven games without a goal. Ecuador won the reverse fixture 2-0 in September and can inflict another defeat on Paraguay on Thursday.

Wales vs Austria – Wales draw no bet at 5/6

There is a huge game in Cardiff and Wales can make full use of home advantage to book a World Cup qualification play-off final spot at the expense of Austria.

Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are both fit for Wales which makes a change from their clubs – and makes a massive difference for Rob Page’s side.

Wales have lost only one of their last eight home games in the Nations League, one of their last ten World Cup qualifiers and only one of their last 11 European Championship qualifiers so something about being in front of their own supporters definitely brings the best out of the Dragons.

Uruguay vs Peru – Uruguay to win at 8/15

Uruguay look well worth putting in the accas for their home World Cup qualifier against Peru as they chase down the four points needed across the next two matches to seal qualification to Qatar.

La Celeste have made hard work of securing an automatic berth but they did put their best foot forward last month with wins over Paraguay and Venezuela.

It’s a very experienced squad with Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani and Diego Godin and they can cope with a pressurised environment to grab a vital victory.

Sweden vs Czech Republic – Sweden to win at 1/1

Sweden have won their last nine matches at the Friends Arena and they can make it a perfect ten when it matters most against Czech Republic.

Spain and Croatia are among those to have been turned over by the Swedes, who are looking good to seal a World Cup play-off final spot against Poland.

Young guns Alexander Isak, Anthony Elanga and Dejan Kulusevski can make up for the absence of the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic, while Czech Republic must do without Euro 2020 hero Patrik Schick.
