Where to bet on Royal Ascot

Given this is one of the highlights of the summer, the bookies have put together some brilliant offers for the festival, including the Paddy Power offer below!

2.30 Queen Anne Stakes

Tip: Real World (w/o the favourite)

It is impossible to take on Baaeed, but the best bet is to go around him by siding with Real World in either the forecast or ‘without the favourite’ markets. He has nearly as good a chance of beating the rest as Baeed has of beating him, but the prices do not necessarily reflect that.

Alternatively, you can back the favourite with the great offer below:

3.05 Coventry Stakes

Tip: Blackbeard

There looks to be loads in Blackbeard’s favour. He has had plenty of match practice, leads this field on Racing Post Ratings and already has a Group-race win to his name. The chances are his draw will prove favourable, too, so there is a lot to like.

3.40 King’s Stand Stakes

Tip: Man Of Promise (each-way)

There will be plenty of good each-way concessions on this race, so look past the two big-name foreign raiders at Man Of Promise. He is an improver who is already proven at Group 1 level and he looked well worth a try back at five furlongs when last seen.

4.20 St James’s Palace Stakes

Tip: Lusail (each-way)

Another race in which there is ample scope to take on the favourite with an each-way bet. Here it is Lusail, who got a torrid run behind Coroebus in the 2,000 Guineas. It will be asking a lot for him to reverse form, but a first-three finish would be highly realistic.

5.00 Ascot Stakes

Tip: Golden Flame

Golden Flame has always appealed as a horse that would stay marathons and he gets his first attempt over an extreme trip here. He ran very well last time, too, losing out only to a horse (Valley Forge) that is currently favourite for the Northumberland Plate.

5.35 Wolferton Stakes

Tip: Foxes Tales

A wide-open Listed race in which the narrow vote goes to Foxes Tales. He looked an extremely promising sort last year and can resume progress now that he is fit and back racing around 1m2f. He seemed to not quite get home over 1m4f last time.

6.10 Copper Horse Stakes

Tip: Cleveland

There looks to be more to come from Cleveland, who did well to win the Chester Cup when last seen. He landed something of a gamble in the process and can further reward his backers, with Ascot’s stiff finish sure to suit.
