With the Florida Swing in the books and the Majors approaching, a host of PGA Tour heavyweights travel to Texas for the Houston Open marking the first half of a Lone Star State double.

This week’s DP World Tour action comes from the DLF Golf and Country Club, home to the Indian Open for a fifth time.

Racing & Football Outlook golf tipster Joe Champion has taken a look at both events to put together an each-way double which pays out at 398/1. Both of these tips have been priced up with bet365 and new customers can take advantage of this great offer:

Houston Open winner prediction – Sahith Theegala at 18/1

Who can stop Scottie Scheffler? That is the question which PGA Tour punters are posed with when the Houston Open returns to Memorial Park Golf Course.

Following his victories at Bay Hill and Sawgrass, it would be foolish to suggest that Scheffler is anything other than the man to beat and he’s just 3-1 to become the first player to win three PGA Tour events in three starts since Dustin Johnson did so in 2017.

He has to be respected on his fine Memorial Park record alone but others have claims, too, starting with Sahith Theegala, who fired a closing 64 to finish 22nd in Houston last year.

Theegala has since become a PGA Tour champion, claiming the Fortinet Championship in September, and he’s been striking the ball magnificently in finishing 20th, fifth, 37th, sixth and ninth in his last five starts, all in stronger fields than this.

His sharp short-game skills are a significant asset at Memorial, a wide track which is protected by tricky, slopey greens and fast run-off areas. He could be the man to upstage the favourite.

Indian Open winner prediction – Ewen Ferguson at 20/1

The DP World Tour’s Asian Swing continues with the Indian Open at DLF Country Club, a course where tee-to-green accuracy has tended to equate to success.

Rasmus Hojgaard tops the betting despite a couple of underwhelming efforts and it could pay to take on the Dane.

Ewen Ferguson will cede course experience to some of his chief rivals including Indian LIV Golf man Anirban Lahiri, but the in-form Scot boasts all the credentials to contend at DLF, where his precise playing style should be shown to best effect.

Ferguson, who has form figures of 23-9-7-30-23-11 from his last six appearances, was solid once again in Singapore last week and this represents a good chance for the Scot to post a third DP World Tour victory.
