After a compelling mid-week continental schedule, the Premier League returns with another full complement of fixtures this weekend.

As always, bet365 have a range of potentially lucrative individual player specials and markets available for Saturday and Sunday’s televised games, and as usual FST have been poring over the statistics to find you the best selections from each.

The action kicks off on Saturday lunchtime at the Etihad, where title chasing Manchester City will be out for revenge against their Champions League conquerors Tottenham Hotspur.

Later that day, Newcastle take on Southampton at St. James’ Park in a tussle between two of the division’s most improved teams.

In Sunday’s earlier kickoff, Manchester United will attempt to play themselves out of their recent slump at Goodison Park against Everton, and Liverpool will be aiming to maintain their title charge at relegation threatened Cardiff City’s expense a few hours later.

Leroy Sane- over 0.5 assists – 7/4 (MANCHESTER CITY vs Tottenham Hotspur)

Germany World Cup 2018 - 23 Man Squad, Sane Dropped.

With Manchester City’s games ramping up in intensity of late, German winger Leroy Sane has been given more of a watching brief by Pep Guardiola, much to the attacker’s frustration.

Sane saw just 7 minutes of action for the Citizens in their heart-breaking Champions League Quarter Final two-legged tie with Tottenham Hotspur, leading to rumours of a rift between the 23-year old and his manager.

Ironically, Sane’s absence against Spurs on Wednesday gives him a greater chance of starting for City against the same team on Saturday, with Guardiola expected to shuffle his pack a little to keep his players fresh.

Even though he has started just 20 league matches in total this term, Sane remains City’s most prolific provider of assists in the Premier League this season. The German has laid on 10 goals for his teammates, a total that places him 3rd in the division’s goal creation stats overall.

Sane will feel like he has a point to prove against Spurs on Saturday, and we think the former Schalke star looks great value at 7/4 with bet365 to another assist to his already impressive haul for the season.

Nathan Redmond – over 0.5 shots on target – 8/11 (Newcastle vs SOUTHAMPTON)

Southampton have been making huge strides under the management of Ralph Hasenhüttl in 2019, and one of the biggest individual beneficiaries of the Austrian’s coaching has been Nathan Redmond.

The versatile Saints attacker can be one of the Premier League’s most menacing players on his day, and things seem to be clicking for him with much more regularity since Hasenhüttl’s appointment.

100% of Redmond’s 5 Premier League goals and 3 assists this season were notched after Southampton installed Hasenhüttl as the new boss at St. Mary’s, and the 25-year old’s attempts averages have shot up from 1.56 per game under former manager Mark Hughes, to 1.94 under the Austrian.

Fresh from 2 goals against Wolves last weekend, Redmond’s confidence will be sky high ahead of Southampton’s game at Newcastle on Saturday evening – and the former Norwich winger is priced brilliantly at 8/11 with bet365 to register over 0.5 shots on target against the Magpies.

Gylfi Sigurdsson to score anytime – 13/5 (EVERTON vs Man Utd)

Sigurdsson Richarlison Gueye Everton

29- year old Everton attacking midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson just loves playing against Manchester United.

The Icelandic international has been directly involved in 7 Premier League goals against Man Utd (4 goals, 3 assists) in his career, though each of that quartet of strikes rattled the net at Old Trafford, the latest of which in October earlier this season.

Sigurdsson is without a goal in 3 Premier League appearances for the Toffees however, though the midfield maestro remains the club’s joint top scorer this season with 12 goals alongside Brazilian attacker Richarlison.

With Manchester United’s confidence looking severely eroded after a run of poor results, we think one of their regular tormenters, Gylfi Sigurdsson, can rub salt in their wounds again.

Sigurdsson is available at lucrative looking 13/5 odds with bet365 to score anytime against United at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Bruno Ecuele Manga over 2.5 tackles – 11/8 (CARDIFF CITY vs Liverpool)

In a crunch Premier League contest that could have a huge impact on developments at both ends of the table, Cardiff City and Liverpool face off in the Welsh Capital on Sunday afternoon.

Cardiff’s incredible 2-0 win at Brighton in mid-week will have provided a major boost to their players’ survival hopes ahead of the final 4 matches of the campaign, though the Bluebirds will need everything to go their way to follow up that victory with another against Liverpool.

Central defender Bruno Ecuele Manga has never been far from the action for Cardiff this season, and the 30-year old has averaged 1.9 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and 4.4 clearances per game for City during a busy 2018/19 defensive campaign for the newly promoted side.

Manga has made over 2.5 tackles in 10 separate Premier League appearances this season, and it’s interesting to note that he made his highest number of challengers in a single game (6) against Liverpool when Cardiff lost heavily at Anfield earlier in the season.

The Gabon international will need every inch of his combative abilities again against Jurgen Klopp’s side on Sunday, making him a great bet at 11/8 with bet365 to make over 2.5 tackles against the Merseysiders.
