The Premier League returns this weekend after the FA Cup break and we’re marking the occasion with the return of our cards and corners accumulator.

There are seven games in the top flight on Saturday but I’ve avoided the early game between Everton and Arsenal to focus on the 3pm kick offs and the late game between Newcastle and West Ham.

You can use my selections for your own cards & corners accumulator, add them to a bet builder if you want to focus on one specific game, or back them all in our 115/1 fivefold bet below.

115/1 Cards & Corners Accumulator Tip

Brighton v Bournemouth

Best cards & corners bet: Brighton -5 corner handicap at 5/4

Brighton have been in dominant form recently under Roberto De Zerbi, winning five of their last seven games in all competitions including a pair of victories over Liverpool.

That dominance has translated to their corner counts, they have had 114 corner kicks in the Premier League this season, fifth-most in the division. That total is in stark contrast with their opponents here Bournemouth, who rank second-bottom of the tally with just 76.

Take the hosts to overcome this handicap mark in what should be a comfortable matchup.

Manchester United v Crystal Palace

Best cards & corners bet: Over 3.5 cards at 8/11

Manchester United and Crystal Palace have had contrasting seasons in many ways, but one aspect they have performed similarly on is bookings.

The Red Devils rank joint-top of the Premier League card count with 50 yellows, while Crystal Palace are not far behind with 48 cards this season. The pair also both rank in the top three for fouls conceded so expect a stop start clash here with four or more cards to be dished out the pick.

Brentford v Southampton

Best cards & corners bet: Lyanco to be booked at 12/5

Southampton suffered disappointment with their loss over Newcastle in the EFL Cup semi-final on Tuesday and they will be hoping they can put that behind them quickly as they aim to avoid the drop.

A trip to Brentford will be a tricky test however and one member of their defence in particular may struggle. Lyanco has already been booked four times in seven league starts this season and was cautioned twice in their EFL Cup campaign. Take the Brazilian to fall foul of the referee once again.

Wolves v Liverpool

Best cards & corners bet: Over 10 corners at 6/5

Liverpool have continued to struggle after the World Cup and one area they have really looked vulnerable is defending set pieces, that will give plenty of hope to a Wolves team who are in the top half of the Premier League for corner kicks despite their lowly league position.

The Reds rank third with 130 corners themselves in 19 games and both teams look set to play their part in a matchup with plenty of corner kicks, take there to be 11 or more.

Newcastle v West Ham

Best cards & corners bet: Joelinton to be booked at 3/1

Bruno Guimaraes will serve his three match suspension picked up in the EFL Cup semi-final before Newcastle visit Wembley later in the month but it does mean that the Brazilian will miss their next three league games, starting with this one against West Ham.

That means that Joelinton will move into a midfield role rather than the forward line where he has been playing and could fall foul of the referee as a result. The 26-year-old has already been booked seven times this season and could be set to pick up another against the Hammers.
