Friday is another busy day of Euro 2024 action, with France facing their biggest test of the group stage against a Netherlands side that won their opening match.

Unfortunately, Slovakia against Ukraine is the penultimate 2pm game of the tournament, so enjoy one of the final triple-header offerings from the tournament with our three Bet Builders!

Friday’s Euro 2024 Bet Builder tips

Slovakia vs Ukraine

Heorhii Sudakov 1+ shot on target

Sudakov was one of the better performers for Ukraine in their opening defeat, taking four shots and getting one on target. The attacking midfielder should see plenty of the ball in this clash and he looks like a good bet for another shot on target.

Juraj Kucka 1+ shot on target

Kucka took more shots than any Slovakian player in their opening win, getting one on target. Kucka made fewer passes than his two partners in central midfield and he’s likely to push further up against Ukraine, so back him for a shot on target.

Peter Pekarik to commit 2+ fouls

Belgium’s brightest spell in their opener came when Jeremy Doku lined up against 37-year-old right-back Pekarik, who made two fouls in that clash. This time around he’s likely to spend much of the game marking Mykhailo Mudryk, who drew three fouls against Romania.

The expected return of Everton left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko should give Ukraine even more threat down that left-hand side, which is a problem for Pekarik.

Poland vs Austria

Austria to win

Austria’s loss to France in their Euro 2024 opener came via an own goal and they matches Les Bleus’ shots-on-target count in that clash while having more possession. They have won six of their last eight, beating Germany and thrashing Turkey 6-1 in that run, and a repeat of their France performance would see them take all three points against Poland.

Christoph Baumgartner to score

Christoph Baumgartner missed a huge chance against France but he can bounce back to form against Poland, who allowed 21 shots against the Netherlands. Baumgartner had scored five in five for Austria prior to their loss to Les Bleus and he should be taken to find the net on Friday.

Christoph Baumgartner to make 2+ fouls

Baumgartner is a real scoring threat for Austria but he’s also key to their press, which saw him commit four fouls against France in their opening game. While Austria should have more of the ball in this clash, this Poland side should be conservative and Baumgartner is likely to spend a lot of time harrying the Polish defenders, so back him for a couple of fouls.

Netherlands vs France

Antoine Griezmann to score

Antoine Griezmann and Dayot Upamecano were the only French players other than Kylian Mbappe to score against the Dutch in qualifying and the former could step up in his captain’s absence.

The Atletico Madrid star has seven goals in 12 European Championship games and could add to that exceptional record by netting in Leipzig.

Marcus Thuram to have 2+ shots on target

Thuram had five efforts against Austria, with two of them on target. He seems to have taken the starting striker role for himself ahead of Olivier Giroud after a great season with Inter Milan.

Thuram should benefit from more chances with Kylian Mbappe’s role expected to be limited, so back him to match his shots-on-target tally from the first game.

Tijjani Reijnders to have 1+ shots on target

Reijnders didn’t get an effort on target against Poland, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The AC Milan midfielder started in a number 10 role for the Dutch and his advanced position saw him take four shots on goal. While the quality of the opposition is improved, Reijnders isn’t shy to shoot and he should work club teammate Mike Maignan.
