The week ahead is fairly quiet in the world of football but there are a few highlights to look forward to and we’ve lined up a 19/1 four-fold taking us through to Friday evening.

There are games from the Championship, League One and League Two to look forward to on Tuesday, five Scottish Premiership games to come on Wednesday and the AFCON tournament continues over the course of the week as the last 16 round takes place in Cameroon before the quarter-finals begin next weekend.

We’ve looked over the fixtures and put together a four-fold with selections on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday that will hopefully take us through to next weekend. Read on to see the four teams we’ve backed to to back our 37/1 tip!

The Long Haul Accumulator

Monday – Caen vs Ajaccio

Best Bet: Ajaccio to win

Ajaccio can replace Toulouse at the top of Ligue 2 if they win at Caen on Monday and they can make the most of the opportunity by taking all three points. The home side have just one win in their last 11 in all competitions and have particularly struggled at home, with five defeats in their last seven.

Ajaccio are in fine form with four wins and a draw in their last five games. They’ve also won each of their last three trips and can make it four in a row on Monday.

Tuesday – QPR vs Swansea

Best Bet: QPR to win

QPR are one of the form teams in the Championship and they head into Tuesday’s visit of Swansea seeking a fifth straight league win. The Swans have lost three of their last five games and have just two wins in their last 11 away, losing six of those.

Rangers could potentially move into the top two with a win over Swansea depending on how Blackburn fare against promotion rivals Middlesbrough on Monday, and with automatic promotion a real possibility for QPR this season they should be able to overcome mid-table Swansea this week.

Wednesday – Hearts vs Celtic

Best Bet: Celtic to win

Two in form teams meet in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday as Celtic travel to the capital to face Hearts. Hearts have five wins in their last seven and two losses – with one of those defeats coming in the reverse fixture in Glasgow and the other coming at the hands of pacesetters Rangers.

Celtic have been in exceptional form of late with 10 wins and one draw in their last 11 games. They may not have it all their own way in Edinburgh, but they should still be able to come away with all three points.

Friday – Huddersfield vs Stoke

Best Bet: Huddersfield to win

There is one Championship game on Friday evening as Huddersfield entertain Stoke City and the hosts can continue their fine form with a victory. The Terriers are unbeaten in their last nine and have won five of their last seven games, while Stoke have just one win in their last five Championship games and have three defeats in their last four.
