AFC Bournemouth vs Blackpool Predictions

Cherries’ class to tell

Bournemouth won 2-0 at Birmingham in midweek, continuing Scott Parker’s fantastic start on the South Coast. Saturday sees them host Blackpool, with the Cherries fantastic against promoted sides.

Bournemouth have only lost one of their last 27 home league games against newly promoted sides (W19 D7). The Cherries won all three of those meetings last term and this season they look good for victory here.

The hosts are in fantastic scoring form, winning 5-0 against MK Dons in their opener before scoring twice in all three league games this term. Philip Billing has scored in three of those and we think he’s good value to add to that great form.

Blackpool have lost their last two matches and we’re backing them to struggle against Bournemouth. The Cherries are worthy favourites but they’re better value to score twice for the fifth straight game this term. We’re also backing a 2-0 correct score with the Cherries losing their last two to nil.
