Internacional finally look to be just turning a corner under Celso Roth, their 3rd coach of the season. They’ve won their last 2 matches, beating Fortaleza 3-0 in the Brazilian Cup prior to a priceless 2-1 home win against Santos in the league that has lifted them out of the relegation zone. They’d gone 14 matches without victory prior to those results but at least now have something to build on. There was an element of fortune about their win over Santos though,given they were up against 10 men for all of the 2nd Half following Lucas Lima’s red card, and this’ll be a tricky game too despite their opponent’s poor form.

Atletico PR were looking like they might even get themselves into the title race a month or so back but a tough run of fixtures has proved they’re not quite at that level. They did win their last home game 1-0 against Botafogo and they’ve lost just 1 of their last 14 home Serie A games, which is testament to the challenge Inter are faced with here.

They have the joint best defensive record in the league and given Inter don’t score many goals themselves, they’ll be confident of keeping a clean sheet here. It’s a bit too soon to view the visitors as a rejuvenated force on the back of one league win and given Atletico PR’s home record, you’d fancy them to edge this. So, backing Atletico PR to Win 1-0 at 5/1 looks a good shout in the correct score market.
