Bayern Munich vs Hoffenheim Betting Tips

Bayern Munich returned to action after the winter break last Friday, picking up an expected win at Hamburger to maintain their lead at the top of the Bundesliga.

To be honest, the title is already looking all but wrapped up. Pep Guardiola has led his side to an eight point lead over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table, and he will be confident of adding another Bundesliga title to his arsenal of trophies before he leaves in the summer.

Bayern Munich have only lost twice in all competitions this season, with losses away to Borussia Monchengladbach and Arsenal joining a goalless draw at Eintracht Frankfurt as their only failures to win.

This is a quite remarkable record, and their defensive record is impressive too. They have only conceded nine Bundesliga goals this season, and seven of their last ten matches in all competitions have seen the German champions keep a clean sheet. They have netted 48 Bundesliga goals at the other end as well.

Hoffenheim find themselves at the other end of the table to their hosts on Sunday. Their 14 point total from their first 18 Bundesliga matches leaves them second from bottom in the table, four points adrift of safety.

They did manage to pick up a point against Bayer Leverkusen last weekend, a result which made it one win, six draws, and four defeats in their last 11 matches in the Bundesliga.

Away from home it looks a bit worse for the visitors though. They have only won once on the road all season and have lost five of their nine away days. This won’t be good news to Hoffenheim as they come up against a side who have won 15 matches in a row at the Allianz Arena.

The hosts have also kept five clean sheets in a row at home, which makes even the short looking odds of 8/13 for Bayern Munich to Win to Nil good value. I’m going for that alongside a 3-0 correct scoreline at 11/2.
