Birmingham vs MK Dons Betting Tips

Milton Keynes have started to pick up a few results just when their position in the table was looking a little bit perilous. They were surprise 2-1 winners against high-flying Sheffield Wednesday in mid-December and repeated the trick on Boxing Day by beating play-off chasing Cardiff by the same scoreline at Stadium MK.

6 points from 3 games has lifted them out of the relegation zone but only just as they currently hold a 1 point advantage on Bristol City in 22nd. It is worth noting that all of their recent wins have been at home and you have to go back to the opening day of the season for their only win on the road. At home their record isn’t great and they have only scored 1 goal in their last 5 matches at St Andrews. That was enough for the win against Cardiff last time out at home but they were a little fortunate to do so and are now in danger of sliding right out of play-off contention.

With Birmingham rarely scoring at home and MK Dons rarely scoring away, it’s hard to see many goals here and backing ‘No’ in the ‘Both teams to score’ market at 5/6 is surely the way to go.
