Bodo Glimt Double Chance (Win or Draw)

Reason for tip

Bodo/Glimt have avoided defeat in 19 of their last 23 home European games. Meanwhile, Juventus have failed to win six of their last seven away games (three draws, three defeats) and won only one of their last nine matches in the league phase of the Champions League (six draws, two defeats), so they are opposable here.

Draw 2-2

Reason for tip

Two of Bodo/Glimt’s Champions League matches have finished 2-2 this season and another could be on the cards when they face a Juve side that are prone to draws. The Serie A sude have drawn three of their last seven away games and six of their last nine Champions League league phase contests.

Kasper Hogh To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Kasper Hogh has been hot and cold this season, but he is the central striker in a side that creates a lot of opportunities through the middle from crosses.  Hogh has scored six goals in Bodo/Glimt’s last eight home European games.

Old Lady set for Arctic blast

The Arctic Circle is hardly a welcoming place to go at this time of year and Bodo/Glimt are unlikely to roll out the red carpet for double European Cup winners Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday. This match kicks off at 9pm local time when the temperature is set to be close to freezing.

Kjetil Knutsen’s side are known for their awkward style and ability to test the best on their artificial surface at Aspmyra Stadium, where they drew 2-2 with Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season.

Only four visiting teams have beaten the Norwegian champions in their own backyard in European competition since 2022 and only one of those, Spurs in last season’s Europa League semi-final, won by more than one goal.

Hogh has been running hot and cold

Juventus are currently not in the kind of form that would suggest they can add their names to a very short list, having lost three and drawn three of their last seven away trips. The Old Lady were the better side in Saturday’s 1-1 Serie A draw in Florence, but could not seal all three points.

And that is becoming a recurring theme in Europe too with only one win in their last nine matches in the league phase of the Champions League (six draws, two defeats).

Bodo/Glimt can be a bit rough around the edges, but they have quality in midfield and create lots of chances for striker Kasper Hogh to score. He had a goal disallowed in their 2-1 win over KFUM Oslo at the weekend in a match the visitors should have probably sealed by a comfortable margin at half-time.  Back the Norwegians to avoid defeat with the possibility of a third 2-2 draw in the League phase for them too tempting in correct score betting.
