Bologna vs Fiorentina Predictions

Bologna should be backed to beat Fiorentina at home in Serie A on Sunday. The visitors are yet to win away this season – they have drawn five and lost five on the road – and Bologna can take advantage.

They are nine places above Fiorentina in the table, with a 13-point gap between the two sides. Bologna are ninth with seven wins, six draws and six defeats, while Fiorentina have won just twice.

Bologna will be optimistic of finding the net, having scored an average of 2.50 goals a game in their four Serie A games against teams in the bottom five this season. They have also averaged 1.89 goals a game in their nine matches against bottom-half sides.

Bologna have only lost one of their last seven home games against Fiorentina in Serie A.

There have been fewer than three goals in five of Bologna’s last six Serie A games, and Fiorentina have lost by a single goal six times in the league. A 1-0 win for Bologna looks a decent correct-score bet.
