      Bosnia vs Andorra Predictions

Even 3 points here may not be enough to rescue Bosnia’s faltering European Championship qualifying campaign. After the excitement of their debut World Cup last summer, they’ve just 8 points from 7 matches in a group which they were expected to progress from but currently are down in 5th.

They have no realistic hope of catching Wales or Belgium for a top two finish but Israel in 3rd are the side they will feel they can still catch. They will be hurting no doubt after a 3-1 defeat in Belgium in midweek but that is no disgrace away to a supremely talented side who were very much at their best.

They really need a confidence boosting victory and a big one to get some belief back into their camp ahead of the crucial final group games next month. Step forward Andorra and a side who have lost every single one of their 47 European Championship qualifiers. In many ways it is the perfect game for the likes of Edin Dzeko, who did score in Belgium and Miralem Pjanic to rediscover the sort of form that made Bosnia a scintillating attacking side in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Andorra’s away games in this group have resulted in 4-0, 5-0 and 6-0 defeats and something similar will surely be on the cards here. Bosnia have a point to prove to their own fans and therefore backing them to win by 5 goals or more here at Evens looks like a good choice.

Goal difference isn’t likely to be a factor in this group with head-to-head records taking priority in tie-breaking situations so Bosnia aren’t going to go wildly chasing double figures or anything like that so you can pretty much rule out an away goal. It’s just a question of how many Bosnia will score and taking a punt on a 6-0 home win offers up healthy potential returns at 13/2.
