      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Bradford head into this match having seen both teams score across seven of their last nine outings. Newport are another team who have not been keeping enough clean sheets this season, with six of their nine League Two fixtures seeing both teams net.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Bradford, unbeaten at home since March, have scored exactly once in three of their last five outings at all venues, including a 1-1 draw at Morecambe last time out. Newport have conceded exactly once in back-to-back games, but scored exactly once in two of their last four on the road.

      Bradford vs Newport County Predictions

      • Seven of Bradford’s last nine outings have seen both teams score
      • Both teams have netted in eight of Newport’s 12 games this campaign
      • The Bantams have kept only one clean sheet in their last four outings at home

      Bradford stuck in a rut

The pressure is mounting on Bradford boss Graham Alexander after a run of four league games without a win, with each of those matches seeing both teams score.

That shows the struggles the Bantams are having at the back, and they have in fact conceded in all bar two of their nine league fixtures so far this season.

Seven of those have resulted in both teams scoring, as have three of their last four across all competitions at Valley Parade, where they are also unbeaten over 90 minutes since March.

      Newport looking to take advantage

Attempting to extend that run will be a Newport side who arrive in Yorkshire on the back of successive victories, beating Crewe and Salford 2-1 and 3-1 respectively.

As such, the South Wales outfit are lurking just outside of the League Two play-off zone, but it will be a huge concern to supporters that they have kept only one clean sheet in nine league fixtures.

As such, six of those games have seen both teams score, as have eight of their twelve matches at all venues and across all competitions.

I think both teams will score in this game, while a 1-1 draw is my correct score prediction.
