Bulgaria vs Montenegro Predictions

• The last three meetings between these two teams have been a draw
• Bulgaria are unbeaten in their last six matches

Closely matched rivals may have to settle for stalemate 

Despite only competing in international football since 2007, Montenegro have played Bulgaria six times in that time so these two sides will be familiar with each other. They landed in the same qualifying group for Euro 2020 also where they took a combined nine points from 16 matches.

The pair look unlikely to reach the finals next year in Germany but if one of them does, they probably need to take all three points here. However the pair have had each other’s number in their previous meetings, with four of their six head-to-heads ending in stalemate. The same could well happen again here. 

Low-scoring affair likely

Goals were at a real premium for both of these sides in the last Euros qualification process and they may suffer the same fate again here. Montenegro have only scored twice in their last four matches and despite going unbeaten in their last five matches, Bulgaria are hardly prolific too. Take a low-scoring draw.
